Every night for years DV.Net is visited by a cast of characters from all over the spectrum. 90% of them are interesting dynamic people who bring their own perspectives to the table. Men and women who appreciate the invitation to express themselves anyway they like.But occasionally you get the hater. Some dude who feels irrelevant because the shit he was popping is so off base and of so little interest to people he is made to feel irrelevant.
None have been as affected and obsessed with DV as Mike Fisher. One of the first regulars to this blog Mike came on like gang busters spreading his message that Hip Hop was responsible for all that is bad in black America and that he was uniquely qualified to correct it because he used to work for Public Enemy.
His interest soon grew into obsession. His obsession decayed into resentment. His resentment morphed into a man crush. Now he's just on some sick ... pay attention to me ... Freudian nonsense. I'd like to pretend I feel sorry for the cat. But I don't. He's a bitch. And a punk. And a coward. And weird. And corny. He's an ideological and spiritual descendant of the Plantation Negros who told their owners of Denmark Vesey's plot to revolt and free the slaves of Charleston South Carolina 200 years ago. A Hater. So here he is today ... hiding behind a fake screen name on another man's blog. Seeking attention. No woman in his life. Hoping to disrupt. Wanting to engage. ReplyDeleteI remember my dad told me to never date a man who didn't grow up without a man in the household. He said ' they try too hard to impress the wrong people and don't value what's important in life'. I didn't get it when he said it but when I was 17 my parents divorced and he moved to a different state. My maternal grandfather, who lived next door, followed up with his own advice 'Marry the man that treats you better than me.'
