that it is, the entire medical paradigm regarding women's reproduction and childbirth is outdated and overrated. i say this because medical journals published by their colleagues state almost 80% of the procedures, interventions, and care they provide is obsolete and causes more harm than good to the care of their patients (mother and unborn child). yet to save face it is still taught to suit the needs of big business.
oh yeah... out of all the industrial countries in the world we rate the worst in prenatal, childbirth/delivery, infant/maternal death and more than other countries because medical model is more important than patient care.
