Desean Jackson is sick! I saw him play when he was in high school. I thought he was nice back then but he has taken his game to (several) new levels. His footwork is nuts. Dude could be Sugar Ray Leonard.
Jackson is definitely one of the most explosive forces in football.
But the best news for Philly fans is that Andy Reid finally came to his senses and started using Michael Vick.
I've been saying since he got there, given the Eagles problems with short yardage situations, put Vick in the Wilccat on 3rd and short and watch defensive coordinators start pulling their hair out.
Everbody thinkin Saints-Vikes for the NFC. Better watch dem Philly dogs.
Mak I haven't seen a game all year. But as the archives will attest I am a huge Michael Vick fan.
How is he looking?
Has the rust worn off? Is he still the quickest cat on the field? How is his arm? Is he comfortable? Is the dog thing history? How are fans responding? Is he just a dude they use in "special" situations? Is his swagger back?
DV, I'm about like you. I have not watched an entire NFL game this season. In fact, I can only remember watching one entire game--the SEC championship; cause I was pulling hard against dem Gators.
I can't answer most of your questions since I'm only reading game summaries of the teams I'm interested in and I watch a few highlights.
MV is only getting a few snaps per game, but Reid is finally using him in situations where he can be most effective. The speed is still there. From what I've seen MV appears to be getting real comfortable running more diverse plays in the Philly scheme.
This is Donovan's team. MV understands his role and they appear to be really supporting one another. Donovan and Reid both know that MV can help them get that elusive SB ring, so look for MV to get more snaps as they advance.
