hope all is well withya. I've been mindful of something these past days and I decided to put something out to the fam and see what others had to say....
I'm 26 now and I love life. I really love everyday. Especially the hard working days (which for me are truly hardly working). I do something new almost every week. I try new foods. New skills. I'm taking archery this weekend. New cities. Every 3-4 months I try a new region. Next fall I'm going to Bora Bora. I really Love Life.
But since my last birthday I've felt so melancholic about getting older. I've been thinking that I most likely have lived a quarter of my life and unfortunately now I know exactly what one means by "life is short". All my goals, wishes and aspirations seem so superfluous next to the idea of one day dying. Shouldn't I just sit by a beautiful landscape and relax more, seeing as how life is so brief?
Please don't laugh at me. I know it may sound silly for a 20-something to preoccupy herself with such thoughts. But I can't help it. We talk about all that's wrong and shameful in the world and I also feel sorrowful for the people who've spent their life suffering. Because it's so short anyway.

Can you give me brighter perspective?
