How's school? Have his plans evolved? Same crew of friends or has he expanded beyond those cats?
Mother's day was cool.
Wife said she didn't want the pressure of making it 'the best day o her life' or nothing like that. So we pretty much chilled.
She was supposed to go get a massage and elected to recline on the coach and sip red wine till she fell asleep.
Boys and I watched the playoffs.
I forgot to get her a card.
Middle son ran out and bought a card from the kids and a card that read "for my wife".
Card cost $2.50.
Little sucker charged me $5.00 for it.
hustle hard.
My wife impressed me though.
She said she didn't want to get caught up in these national sales events ... where they create a holiday ... and make everyone feel pressed to go spend some money to demonstrate their love.
So beyond a couple of cards and some flowers .. there was no gratuitous exchange of gifts.
Left us 30 yrs. ago, yesterday.
