We own our homes - we're just taxed like the land holders of old who were taxed to pay for the kings' bills. Buying a house is easy if you only buy what you can afford to pay and not what you can borrow. My ish was paid off before I moved in. Not a huge home (5-3-3) but good enough for me.

The mortgage system based on usury is fundamentally and inherently corrupt and rapacious, period dot! But then so is insurance...
