Women too often abuse the social expectation that men aren't supposed to hit them. The idea is that a man could easily beat a woman if she engages him in a fist fight, but for the very same reason he is forbidden to hit her, a very troubling catch-22.
I'm not going to even get into the psychological phenomenon of women who subconsciously (or sometimes, VERY CONSCIOUSLY) *WANT* their men to hit them, and sometimes actively goad them into it, only to turn around and cry wolf in a twisted sort of Stockholm's By Proxy, as it were.
I dated a guy once that told me that I could really benefit from a good abusive relationship... needless to say that didn't last very long. But I do not attract the type of guys that hit women. I think certain types are drawn to each other and if indeed there is a certain type of woman who wants (consciously or subconsciously) to be hit, she will attract the type of trash that's willing to do it.
If I got the translation right, I think she said, "...Oh really? Then what would Larry Holmes do against a back hand?"

Like I said before, some women are masochists in this way instigating their dudes to abuse them...
