The Impending Irrelevance Of School

40 comments:

  1. DV, I swear, you're such a tease with these Rorschach test titles. Fine, bro, I'll bite.

Spoken like a true survivalist, awaiting the meltdown and accompanying die-off, all the while learning the basics of plumbing, electricity, carpentry, gardening, canning foods, water purification, animal husbandry, first aide & CPR, midwifery, holistic medicines, bicycle repairs, etc; ya got gold, guns, money, ammo, food, passport, maps and an escape plan.

All of the above might keep you alive when degrees won't do jack for anyone in the event of a return to the Dark Ages. They didn't have electricity, much less computers, lol.

You really think it's coming soon, dontcha? Well DV, eff the NWO and their plans. As the old song goes, He got the whole world, in His hands...

I take it you and I will have candles in ours.

  2. why you gotta take a legitimate problem space, and go stink it all up with the likes of LaRouchian douchebag Terry Malanson?

seriously DV, are you a professional negro agitator on the LaRouche payroll?

    or,

were you abducted and mentally impregnated as an impressionable youth by one of their many cultic political cells?

  3. Ha! What's up Sista Kit? That's funny! I like your style.

"bicycle repairs, etc; ya got gold, guns" LOL!!

    Ahhhhh. You got me.

I feel you. That's what my pops says: "To what end 'Denmark Vesey', to what end?"

    Is it coming soon?

    I can't answer that question.

But I can acknowledge the obvious: The brick and mortar education model is about as efficient and cost productive as an out of warranty - Lincoln Navigator. On 24 inch rims. 3 months behind on payments. With a cracked engine block.

    It's expensive and broke.

    It doesn't work.

It doesn't produce what it promises.

The people it produces are not educated. Cannot compete. Don't know how to eat. Still lining up for vaccines.

90% of schooling is online anyway. Teachers are effectively analog internet guides.

What kid in America is doing a report on New Guinea that doesn't involve the internet? What 8th grader is not emailing questions and attaching reports to teachers? What geography student is not using Google Maps?

    That's all online.

Why bother go to the building? Save everybody a lot of money if they just stay home. And educate themselves online.

Whether people "want" to do it or not. Because it's cheaper ... (and ultimately better) ... all schooling will be online in the next 10 or so years anyway.

The old notions of college as a Class Filter are going to evaporate. School as you know it has a future about as bright as the future of the VHS tape.

Soon everyone will attend classes online, just like DMG does at DenmarkVesey.Net

  4. Nah, CNu.

I'm just a brother appreciating the observation that 'public education is nothing other than the means for the empowered authority to control subsequent generations'.

I just happen not to give a fuck who said it.

That statement wouldn't be any less true if it were made by Lyndon Larouche, Rush Limbaugh or the Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Clan.

LOL. Now since you've apparently talked yourself into believing "Lyndon LaRouche Must Have Created DV!"

Ask Lyndon to create another DV.

    ...
    ...

Now ask him to slap together a CNu.

Let's see who pops up first.

  5. I feel about computers and primary education the way DV does about vaccines.

  6. I can see that Sub. That's a good point.

  7. Now ask him to slap together a CNu.

    lol..,

Now since you've apparently talked yourself into believing "Lyndon LaRouche Must Have Created DV!"

    as noted above,

I was equally comfortable with the notion that one of his minions got hold of you at a bus stop at 3:00 in the morning - during your formative years - brought you into the life and put you on for Lyndon..,

  8. Those systems that resist adopting homosexual=radical autonomist=liberal first principles will survive; the systems that don't, they will perish.

    ReplyDelete
  9. This unrelenting focus on homosexuality says more about the current moral standard than it does about the viability of Western civilization especially when you consider that such pair bonding was a common and accepted feature of social relations in the Greco-Roman world.

    ReplyDelete
  10. ^^Translation:

Don't speak of radical homosexuality and the application of its first principles in seeking radical autonomy and how such autonomy means the death of all systems and institutions.

    ReplyDelete
  11. No it just means that homosexuality was a well known and broadly accepted part of the social culture in the Hellenic and Roman worlds which in turn served as the foundation for Western systems and institutions. Just an observation that there was probably greater indulgence in homosexuality during Classical civilization, not an admonition that you or anyone else must approve of such.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Brother Sub, you would be well served to dispose of that persistent yet completely fabricated meme that the "Hellenic and Roman worlds served as the foundation for Western systems and institutions."

    Complete fabrication.

    Classic Hegelian Head Fake.

The modern version of history, as one begun in Greece, and secluded to Europe, is an invention of 19th century German romantics who perceived an affinity between the Greek and German languages.

Prior to the Germans, 18th Century 'Enlightenment' scholars through the influence of occult legend and the supposed connection between Sanskrit and European languages created the notion of an original "Indo-European" race (Aryans) ... who were responsible for "Western" civilization.

All them white boys were full of shit. (full of the devil too, but that's another story)

The glory of Greece has been greatly exaggerated.

Greece was to Persia what Poland was to the Soviet Union.

A conquered outpost. A cultural sponge.

    Persia was Babylon.

    Babylon was ... Babylon.

Attributing the homosexual decadence of the Babylonian influenced Greek and Roman ruling elite to the entire Greek and Roman world is like attributing Skull and Crossbone membership of G.H. Bush and G.W. Bush to all of America today.

    ReplyDelete
  13. As an aside, I'm not a master in this area and maybe someone else out there can help but I don't think "Hegelian" means what DV thinks it means.

Of course Western civilization as well as Classical civilization is permeable and the result of a mixture of different peoples and cultural appropriations. My objective was not to debate anthropology but to refute the assumption that an acceptance of homosexuality necessarily entails societal decay. To that end I cited both Greece and Rome and their several hundred years history as EVIDENCE of empires which had NO prohibition or stigma surrounding homosexual pair bonding. I did NOT, nor did I ever intend to, assert that homosexuality was the norm for social relations. (If I were forced to analogize it was more like being a Mormon.)

  14. Subhumanist,

We're far beyond acceptance and instead talking of advocacy and adoption of the homosexual nature as an organizing principle of society. That a society can survive radical autonomization is simply illogical. To believe someone can purposely exist with nondiscrimination and tolerance as highest principles is absurd. The mere notion of living being an end in and of itself isn't even entertained unless it's the type of living where nondiscrimination and tolerance are put to use in service of perpetual gratification.

Here we see the homosexual's insatiable sexual appetite creating a ripple effect in the larger society. It's hardly surprising that the mass education system is being infected by this diabolical force.

    ReplyDelete
  15. "That a society can survive radical autonomization is simply illogical. To believe someone can purposely exist with nondiscrimination and tolerance as highest principles is absurd."

are we on a train with no brakes??

    ReplyDelete
  16. It is apparent you do not think Hegelian means what I think it means. Because you keep falling for the same head fake.

The fact that you are participating in the illusion of a 'West v Classical' dialectic is a product of Hegel's imagination.

Sub, what makes you think "Western Civilization" is at all distinct from any other civilization?

    When did this distinction occur?

    West of what?

Why didn't Europe, like the rest of the world develop from the ancient civilizations that existed thousands of years prior to Europe's development?

That entire polemic is a ... Head Fake.

    An Hegelian Head Fake

The relatively contemporary and fashionable notion that "homosexual pair bonding" was accepted without stigma in Greece and Rome is a product of contemporary and fashionable homosexual historical revisionism. And Hollywood.

Was there homosexuality among the Greek and Roman elite? I'm certain there was. Was this decadence ... evidence of a lack of societal decay?

    Au contrare mon frere.

This type of societal moral decay seems to have preempted the fall of more than Greece and Rome.

So from now on I'll place in you in the category of irrelevance occupied by Byrdeye and will scroll right past anything you write.

  23. Yeah. OK Sub. I get that.

I didn't find the photo of a piece of shit particularly amusing myself.

    A couple of things.

DV doesn't "forment" anything. Nor do I referee. I don't play Blog Cop. I think the world is over-policed. So in here - Say What You Want. But each man holds his own. Don't dish out what you can't take. (Big Ups Mike Fisher. Big Ups Casper. Big Ups UB. DMG. CNu)

Secondly. Later for all that Affirmative Action Likudist - "We don't negotiate with terrorists" nonsense regarding Thordaddy.

His Radical Autonomy meme has far more merit than the H1N1 vaccine dripping out of the noses of half the people reading this post right now.

I mean, between the sarcasm, exaggerated disdain, proclamations of intent to ignore and scatalogical hyperlinks, not one of you A Students has blown a hole in his Radical Autonomy game.

I mean. It is at least as meritorious as is your Homosexuality Was Tolerated In Greece & Rome ... Therefor meme.

So if Thordaddy is so weak, simple minded, racist and despicable - why hasn't one of you cats stepped up and done to him what you did to Byrdeye?

    Blog Murder.

    Who has seen Byrdeye lately?

This is not BookerRising. This is not BlackProf.com. That's not why you stop by from time to time. This is a true memetic meritocracy. No racism.

I'm not scared of white boys and not inclined to run them away because they don't bend over through hoops to play the "I'm not a racist" routine.

    Wrong.

    DV said:
"not one of you A Students has blown a hole in his Radical Autonomy game."

    You missed this thread.

From what he said, his definition of radical autonomy sounds more like he's describing anarcho-individualism. Here he seems to be using it indiscriminately from pro-gay lobbyists to centre leftists like BO and an anti-capitalist far leftist like me. Yet there are glaring differences between all of these people.

TD labels CNu with the same term yet Nulan is an advocate of population control and forsees Amerikkka's downfall with Obama, America's symbol of Hope and Change. And Casper???

Radical autonomy by this definition may as well be anyone who doesn't share TD's worldview, because unless I'm mistaken I don't see any one thing common to all of the political or social views of those described as radical autonomists. Perhaps TD needs to enlighten us further or expand his range of terms cos this one-size-fits-all radical autonomy is erroneous, IMO.

  27. Konwomyn,

A radical autonomist is one who purposely attempts to maximize their autonomy by any means necessary.  Autonomy being defined as the ability to change unimpeded.

Your notion of anarcho-capitalism is just a variant of radical autonomy.  It references the relationship between man and state.  Radical autonomy is about man versus God and all of his Creation.

Atheists are necessarily radical autonomists.  Those who oppose capitalism may be radical autonomists depending on whether they consciously oppose the natural acquisition of credibility, i.e., the essence of capitalism?  The jury is still out on you???

    ReplyDelete
  28. The jury is still out on you???

    ReplyDelete
  29. A radical autonomist will also maximize his autonomy by minimizing the autonomy of others. Case in point, the mechanically "conscious" CNu pleading to DV to shut me down all because I outed him as a global warming/open borders zealot, i.e., a radical autonomist. CNu's atheism and allegiance to homosexuality only bolstered my analysis.

  32. Thordaddy,

The problem I have with your definition is that it's vague and at times contradictory. You suggest that "a radical autonomist is one who purposely attempts to maximize their autonomy by any means necessary." Just what does purposely mean? Have you ever considered under what conditions does being "radical" then become "any means" become the neccessary means to gain "autonomy"?

Amerikkka in the time Malcom X meant the struggle for civil rights was not deliberate but fundamental and non-negotiable. Same thing with anti-colonial struggles in Africa and the Caribbean - not done on purpose but with purpose.

If "radical autonomy references the relationship between man and state" in the context of the US, the relationship between man and the State operates on selective inclusion and exclusion. The place you see as "The Home of The Brave" and the star-spangled banner you salute is a blood-splattered piece of expensive cloth handstitched by many. What you might see as radical autonomy in someone like Malcom X is an oppositional and just response to the conditions "purposely" imposed on him by capitalism and a racist State. What you consider "the natural acquisition of credibility" is acquired through the exploit of another.

Capitalism contradicts your definition; it is purposely the pursuit of profit and in a neo-liberal system; deregulation = autonomy - by your definition. I don't get how you can see American capitalism as a "good" when its foundation is built on an unfair and brutal system in the pursuit of profit.

Even in the religious sense - for someone opposed to freewill; how can you speak of the essence of capitalism as a good? You oppose the free movement of people because it threaten your idea of a nation and State but goods can be freely traded because that sustains your nation and your State, but on the flipside at whose expense? Free markets over free people; so much for Man being in the image of God.

And by the way, I said your term sounded like anarcho-individualism not "anarcho-capitalism" - there is a difference between the two terms.

  33. the reason why i want to go to college and send my kids to college seems mad fun shitttt why else go?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Konwomyn,

You see capitalism as a social construct.  This is a false and radically autonomous perception. The Man with the most credibility has the most capital.  The Man with the most capital is supreme.  Therefore, the Man with infinite credibility is Supremacy.

Once you grasp these fundamental truths then the question becomes very clear.

Does Konwomyn object to the acquisition and/or attainment of credibility?  Is konwomyn, in full recognition of the essence of capitalism, anti-capitalist?  If so, does she even need respond less she be accused of attempting to gain credibility, i.e., engaging in capitalism?
