  2. The creative genius of David is definitely not on the level of Big Brother Goliath. The marketing genius...yes.

There is something magical about an artist who can go into a recording booth with nothing written down and create some of the most beautiful, abstruse poems 'off the dome'. That is truly creative genius. Now if you want to compare BIG to Jay....that's a different story.

  3. P,

I'm prepared to compare BIG to Shakespeare and Jay to Kipling.

Why should we limit our poets to the Negro leagues?

I think our poets, just like our baseball players, would dominate the majors.

  4. Agreed. Our poets would def. dominate.

I was confused. I thought you were comparing Kanye to Big Brother Goliath Jay.

    I didn't get that.

Maybe because everybody is not pretending like the sista elected as mayor of Baltimore is the Emancipation Proclamation.
